Amazing Tex-Mex restaurant. I have never had a bad experience. Great food, Great service, everything is just great.
Great food with good service and a comfortable atmosphere.
We went with a group of 10 and it took them 3 hours to cook our food. Other people who came after us came and went while we waited. We kept getting told the other side of the restaurant was super busy. No excuse to forget other people. We found out the cooks were getting confused with orders and other tables had to leave because they weren't getting their food either.
Awesome Food. Fast Service. I couldn't ask for a better experience. The people are so friendly. I would recommend Dos Hombres to anyone looking for great food with a great environment. Oh, and they make #BOMB_DRINKS !
Love this restaurant. My favorite food here is creamy chicken enchiladas. Sometimes spicy sometimes not but always good. There's a booth in the back by the window, if you're cold blooded, request it, the heater vent with roast you out. Not for me next time. Lol
My family and I go every week. The food is awesome and the staff are very helpful and nice and service is great ! Thank You!
Stop remodeling and changing your menu, charging us more and asking us to "Rediscover You". Dos Hombres, is not as it was. Hasn't been for maybe 20 years. However, still good. Just don't take family there from Arizona and such, who are used to more "authentic" Mexican Food. Haha.
Jason in the bar is an amazing server! ALWAYS makes our visit awesome! He makes the BEST strawberry margaritas! The food is always amazing as well! Definitely our favorite go to restaurant!
Nice restraint, good food and nice people.
Service was excellent. Definitely would recommend the fish tacos. Margarita was unimpressive.
Wouldn't even rate this place as 1 star .had AWFUL service. Confronted a manager and was given a rude response. Then was glared at by ever employee. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Will be contacting a GM. Not worth the money or time. Rude waiters and waitresses .
Service was amazing.... food on the other hand was bland worst Mexican food I ever ate!!! Salsa tasted like cheap jar salsa margarita tasted like it had no alcohol in it!! Kids meal pizza was well gross looking and my kids wouldnt touch it will never go back to one in the redlands want good food go to Clifton one it's so much better!!
Delicious Mexican food for the whole family! Like home made! They have spicy and no spicy salsa. Prices are right for what you get!
New Owner good service and food .
It was clean and service was friendly. Not impressed with food. 2 of us ordered Fish tacos, 1order was plentiful but lacked much flavor. 2nd one had burnt fish and skimpy amount, probably a good thing. Dos Green chili on burritos had little flavor, a little salt and garlic could have added a lot to it. Wont be going back.
Like many others (and we are long-time "regulars") - the food is great, as well as the service - BUT: please Dos Hombres, (I hope you're reading the reviews) - just bring in lighter, tastier and fresher chips - instead of trying to make your own - and you would get MUCH greater satisfaction from all your patrons!!! Just to reinforce: your current - and long standing "in-house" chips are frankly - horrible. They taste like stale cardboard. My wife and I comment (negatively) almost every time we go in... Every other Mex restaurant we visit have superior chips - please get on board with that; they are the first thing you taste - and are a very important part of the meal!!!
Good atmosphere but the food is like glorified & pricier taco bell.
We have been coming to Dos Hombres for several years mostly at the Redlands. The Food has become marginal and the service has become abysmal. Had to ask for refills and silverware, the “free” birthday dessert was uncooked, literally raw throughout. The hostess/manager was impolite and unwelcoming, and offered excuses instead of apologies. We have given them many chances that have produced similar results. We are going to spend the extra drive time and take our business where they appreciate patronage.
I give it two stars. My grand parents go there once a week. It’s very rare I go because the food is not very good at the Redlands I ordered a deli tostada and it was in a flaky bowl not at all what I should been. It was super greasy and not very good. Also had a time we ordered hamburgers and they came out raw in the center. The salsa is plain and the bean dip is just so spicy some times you can’t eat it. The staff I find very helpful tho.
Absolutely Awesome....get Jason as your server
Favorite family goto for good food.
Excellent food but the service left something to be desired
Food is decent but soon there will not be a Dos Hombres across from albertsons
We had a big party right next to us that was super loud. We struggled to hear each other at our table. The birthday singing by the staff did not help. Our meals though, were above our expectations. I ordered the carnitas burrito. I would definitely recommend this meal to others. My son, who is a very picky eater, ordered the chicken tacos and devoured every ounce. The food was definitely worth the visit!
Recent change of ownership, thought it would be decent enough, I loved the goat and clover when I went, but there is no comparison. The menu has slight changes as well as some of the recipes, but the same meal used to cost me 38-42$ and this time it cost me $70! I preferred this location for the pozole, which isn't offered at the Clifton location. I ordered an old fashioned with dinner which came with cherry puree in the bottom that was not tasty at all :( left wishing I had gone somewhere else
A very big turn around since last time we went there. Food was amazing. New salsa recipe was amazing, I just wanted to munch on that. Dos green still as amazing as ever. Highly recommend
The service was great and helpful. We enjoyed our food a lot. Good experience
Slightly different menu from the Clifton location. Food was good but service forgot our appetizer. Our server apologized and we didn't see it on our bill.
In my 30 years of eating out I have never have had worse food in my life. The chips are horrible, the salsa tastes like it just came out of a can. The margaritas have no alcohol in them. I ordered the chicken fajitas, the rice was dry(didn’t come with any beans) and the chicken was severely over cooked, they served it with cold tortillas!! So beyond disgusting I will never go back!
Gluten free, they took good care on not cross contaminating my cheese enchilada it was delicious but don't expect to have chips and salsa they will not provide gluten-free chips. They overcharged on one plain cheese enchilada no rice and beans was over $6.Service was extremely slow at 11.30 am
Have been coming here for many years. The owner Jake is a quality human being and his staff is the best. Most have worked there for a long time. The food is consistently good and the service is always top notch. Don't miss happy hour.
Our server Haley was above and beyond wonderful! We were a group of about 30 and it was her fourth day. The restaurant had just changed owners and brought out a new menu that day. She overcame every challenge and service with a smile! The downside is the food was barely okay and the Margaritas were horrible. Hopefully they're just getting the kinks out but I don't know if I would try for a second time. After having such quality food there from the Howard family for so many years it was very disappointing.
We are from out and town, but some friends of ours brought us here. Absolutely phenomenal food!
A man hit my son and the cops came and kicked my son out of the restaurant! I will never eat there again ! They took a white guys word over my son and daughter ( they are Mexican) these people are prejudice which is ironic since they are serving Mexican food !
We go there often. Service is always prompt, however, we do not go at the busy times. Food is average . Especially like the patio in the summers
Went in with my husband and 14 year old son for our first time. The hostess was on the phone for 15 min, and then another lady came and asked if we have been helped "no". She then asked if we wanted to sit at the bar "no thank you we have a 14 year old". She then says let me see what else is available. The was 5 other tables empty.... this lady didn't come back so er started to walk out. Another lady came and asked if have been helped as we are walking out the restaurant. We went to Mi Mexico instead...
The service was very slow and we had to ask many times to get what we wanted. They brought me ice water and the ice melted almost immediately. I asked for a glass of ice and the second time got it. The ice was already melting and had been sitting on the counter for a while. It was also hot inside. We might have at least got a breeze if we would have sat outside. It was 100 degrees that day and by dinner time was cooler. I was cooler when I walked outside and got some air.
Good Mexican style food. Decent for groups and lunch / dinner. This is the second location, the main location is in Clifton, CO across town. The food seems to be consistent between locations. The Navajo Taco is always good.
Good Mexican food..
Always come here when in town..Always.Highly recommend it.Frank the original owner was my friend!Rachel is amazingMichael from Steamboat!
The best Dos in the Grand Junction area! You cannot go wrong with their enchiladas, fajitas or the Santa Ana chicken fajita smothered in their Jalapeno creme chili sauce. They also have gluten free blue corn tortillas for those who have an allergy. Can't complain about their house margs either!
Just a fun place to stop and catch your breath and grab some good food. Never have to wait! The staff is there with smiles and willingness to serve you. Chips & salsa at the table to snack on while checking out the menu. Drinks are delivered quickly. Kick back and enjoy!
We arrived at 4:15pm on a Saturday and the dining room was 90% empty. Our server was slow and was unable to answer questions. The food took at least 25 minutes. My meal was incorrect. The waitress assured me they could remedy it quickly. Ten minutes later my meal came. I will never give Redlands Dos my business again. The entire experience was painful. Clifton DOS is consistently a great experience.
Love their entrees. Try the tequila lime shrimp fajitas and get a flaming entrance at your table... we split this one. Every Tuesday is buy one get one 1/2 of with online coupon. Happy hour prices on house margaritas and draft beers 4-6 pm
Great dinner! The steak fajitas were delicious.
The food is pretty good. The extra guac and sour cream is really expensive though. Cute decor and nice patio area.
Been a customer for 30 years at the Redlands location. Food was cold when it got to the table. Food quality has gotten worse over the years. Had to ask for refills and silverware. Girl at the front never smiled at anyone. I've given them many chances and I'm going across the street where they seem value their customers. I would give them less than one star if it was available!
Our waittress was so amazing. Shes a great asset to Dos
Great intimate room for my daughter's graduation party and exceptional service. Thank you!
The service is always great. The food is consistently great.
